Dining Halls and Serveries
There are two dining facilities at 麻豆视频在线看 鈥� Strachan Hall and the Buttery. Strachan Hall and the Buttery are open to the Trinity community. Patrons are able to use their Residence Meal Plan, Trinity Flex Dollars, debit or credit. Please note that both dining facilities are cashless operations.
Facility听Entry
The dining halls are considered common spaces in the College.听听麻豆视频在线看 must adhere to public health guidelines and posted signage when entering and while inside the dining halls and serveries.听 The entrance to Strachan Hall is through the south doors and the entrance to the Buttery is through the south鈥搘est doors of the Gerald Larkin building.
Seating in the Dining Hall
Seating in the dining facilities is limited. Additional听indoor seating is available听in the听Junior Common Room, and听additional outdoor seating听(weather dependent)听will also be available.听 All furniture in these areas听should remain in place and not be moved.
Dietary Accommodations
Trinity Food Services is currently able to accommodate patrons who require a vegetarian or vegan diet, halal diet, lactose/dairy free diet and made without gluten diet; and pre-packaged Kosher meals are available in Strachan Hall. The dining facilities are not allergen free facilities or kosher facilities. For patrons with dietary accommodations, meal selection may be limited and/or may need to be pre-arranged. Individuals with life-threatening food allergies are expected to take the necessary precautions, including having an epi-pen on their person at all times within the dining hall.听 Anyone with dietary accommodation requirements, including food allergies, are encouraged to contact the Office of the Dean of 麻豆视频在线看听for more information (trinity.deanofstudents@utoronto.ca).
听Self-Bussing
All听patrons听are required to clear their table听and deposit听garbage, recycling, food waste听and soiled听dishes听to听the听dish return听station.听If student bring dishes, utensils or cups out of听a dining facility, they will be required to return them听back to the dining facility or residence听waste management area.
Safety
Appropriate attire,听comprising of clothing听and footwear,听must always be worn in the dining halls and serveries.听 Actions听which might jeopardize the safety of听community members is听not permitted.听Roller听blades and/or skates听may not be worn in听the dining halls or serveries; skateboards,听longboards听and bicycles are not permitted.
Animals
Animals (except for service animals) are not permitted in听the dining halls听or the听serveries.
Alcohol
Alcoholic beverages听are not permitted in the dining halls or serveries, unless for special licensed events,听which have been听approved by the Office of the Dean of 麻豆视频在线看.
Soliciting
Soliciting and canvassing听in the听dining hall听and at the dining hall鈥檚 entrance,听must be approved by the Office of the Dean of 麻豆视频在线看.
