The International Relations (IR) Program experience does not end when you leave the classroom. The program encourages students to get involved in a variety of co-curricular activities. The International Relations Speaker Series
The Director of the IR program organizes a series of talks by visiting experts, scholars and practitioners in the field of international relations. Recent talks have featured Dr. Madeleine Albright, the former U.S. Secretary of State, Hon. Dr. Lloyd Axworthy, former Minister of Foreign Affairs of Canada, and Rt. Hon. The International Relations Society
The student-run International Relations Society () was formed in 1979. 麻豆视频在线看 are strongly encouraged to join the student-run International Relations Society, which is based at 麻豆视频在线看 with an office at the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy. The activities of the Society involve both social and educational events. The Society sponsors a wide range of valuable activities, including speakers, discussion groups, course evaluations, and a student magazine. The International Relations Society usually launches its annual activities with a gathering in September. Consult the 听for more information.
The International Relations Society Mentorship Program
The听听runs a Mentorship Program, which pairs first-year students with second and upper year students enrolled in the International Relations Program. The program includes meet-ups, academic seminars, trips, career advice, and much more. Information on how to become a mentor or a mentor will be emailed to students in the fall term. The Attach茅 Student Journal on International Issues
Founded in 1998, the听 is the premier undergraduate journal in international relations and politics in Canada and celebrated its 20th year of publication in 2018. The journal is produced by the International Relations Society.
G7 and G20 Research Groups
The听 both serve as the world鈥檚 leading independent sources of information, analysis and research on the institutions, issues and members of the G7, G8 and G20. G7 Research Group (created in 1988) and the G20 Research Group (created in 2008) based at the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy at the University of Toronto.
The student branch of each research group prepares an annual compliance report that scientifically measures the extent to which G7 and G20 members comply with their most recent summit commitments. Selected IR program students have the opportunity to travel to these summits each year as members of the field team to present their research, meet with world leaders and experience international relations at the highest level at close hand.

Canadian Centre for the Responsibility to Protect (CCR2P)
The听听is a non-profit, non-partisan research organization which aims to promote scholarly engagement and political implementation of the R2P principle. CCR2P is based at the Munk School of Global Affairs & Public Policy.
