Convocation Ceremony: Details

Convocation Ceremony: on , we look forward to celebrating with Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµÔÚÏß¿´’s graduates, who will receive their Honours Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Arts, Honours Bachelor of Science, Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Commerce (for Commerce students who have requested to graduate with their college). The Convocation speaker will be The Hon. Catherine McKenna (International Relations program graduate), Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Climate and Nature Solutions, and Canada’s former Minister of Environment and Climate Change. Ceremony Webcast: Do you have family and friends who don’t have tickets to attend the ceremony in-person in Convocation Hall, but who would like to join you on campus and attend the reception (see below for reception details)? An alternative viewing venue is available directly south of Convocation Hall in the Sanford Fleming Building, Room 1101. This room is fully accessible and will broadcast the livestream of the convocation ceremony. The livestream of Trinity’s Convocation ceremony on June 10 starts at 9:30 am ET via .

Convocation Reception: Following the Convocation ceremony, Provost Nicholas Terpstra invites Trinity graduates and their guests to join in a celebration reception at the College (12 pm: approximate start time). Light refreshments will be served. Graduands were sent an invitation for the reception (to their @utoronto email address) on May 28, 2026.

College Photography: Trinity’s photographer will be taking photos throughout the day. Please note: as you arrive Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµÔÚÏß¿´ for the reception, our professional photographer will be stationed at the front of the college to take complimentary photographs of graduates and their guests. Let us capture your special moment!

Graduation Awards Ceremony: on Tuesday, June 9, we will honour Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµÔÚÏß¿´ graduands and Âé¶¹ÊÓÆµÔÚÏß¿´ program graduands for their outstanding achievements. Award recipients will be sent an invitation to join the ceremony and reception. We look forward to celebrating with you and your families on June 9!
